Maple Crest Private School aims to impart holistic education to the whole child. The students who walk out of the portals of Maple Crest will be lifelong learners, equipped with knowledge, skills and attitudes enabling them to fulfill their potential and ready to contribute enthusiastically and positively to our society and the world, now and in the years to come. The student will be in a safe and caring environment so they may interact on principles of mutual respect.

Maple Crest Private School, therefore, will strive to be a lighthouse for society, providing direction and guidance to each child, who is potentially a light for the world, and a conscious and proactive member of society

Who we are

Maple Crest Private School is a an international-minded school of approximately students from grades Kindergarten to Grade 6 was started in out of the need for offering international curriculum in the city of Vaughan, Ontario. The medium of instruction is English.
Maple Crest Private School prides itself as being the first private elementary school in Woodbridge (Vaughan) that has been granted the candidate status by the International Baccalaureate since September 2007. Therefore in the city of Vaughan, Maple Crest pioneers the approach to interweave the Canadian and IB PYP curriculum.
We offer a holistic educational program, where students are exposed to French as a second language in kindergarten. Yoga, dance, drama, music and visual and performing arts enrich the children’s learning experiences at Maple Crest.

Our Philosophy

At Maple Crest, we believe that each child is a distinct individual with unique abilities and perspectives that needs to be respected and developed by safe and varied experiences. We believe that school is place where a child comes to express himself/herself and learn in order to develop and mature in his/her journey to self-actualization. This needs a challenging, relevant and international program tailored with an approach that promotes inquiry and mutual respect in making them into lifelong learners. In Maple Crest the learning of the children is entrusted to a team of qualified and dedicated personnel who with their care and competence enthuse and involve parents as partners in this responsibility to promote the child’s learning.
